Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Nelson, a senior from Atlanta TX, on his family's farm. But this wasn't just any ordinary senior session - we also captured family portraits on the farm, which happens to be the home of Dutch Spring Farm. This family-owned business sells grass-fed beef and pastured pork, and they take great pride in their work.

As a photographer, I'm always looking for unique and meaningful settings to capture my clients' personalities and interests. When the family suggested we do the photoshoot on their farm, I was thrilled. I knew we could capture some amazing shots that would reflect the family's love for their land and each other.

We started the session with Nelson wearing his cap and gown, which looked perfect against the natural beauty of the farm. He was a natural in front of the camera, and we were able to use different areas of the farm to create a variety of looks.

Once we finished the senior portraits, we moved on to the family portraits. This was a special moment for me, as I could see how much the family means to each other. We took photos in different areas of the farm that held special meaning to the family. These are the types of moments that make photography so rewarding for me - capturing genuine connections and emotions.

As we wrapped up the session, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful family. Not only did we create beautiful memories that they will cherish for years to come, but I also learned about the importance of supporting local farmers and the benefits of grass-fed beef and pastured pork.
